Safari is the default web browser on macOS, and it comes with a number of built-in plug-ins that can enhance your browsing experience. However, you may also install third-party plug-ins that can cause issues or slow down your browsing experience. Here’s how to view, manage, or remove Safari plug-ins on your Mac:

View Installed Plug-Ins

1.Open Safari.

2.Click on the “Safari” menu in the top-left corner of the screen.

3.Select “Preferences” from the drop-down menu.

4.Click on the “Extensions” tab.

5.You will see a list of all the plug-ins that are currently installed in Safari.

Manage Plug-Ins

1.To enable or disable a plug-in, check or uncheck the box next to it.

2.To adjust the settings for a plug-in, click on it to select it, and then click on the “Preferences” button.

3.You can then adjust the settings for that plug-in as needed.

Remove Plug-Ins

1.To remove a plug-in, select it from the list.

2.Click on the “Uninstall” button.

3.Confirm that you want to remove the plug-in.

4.The plug-in will be removed from Safari.

Note that some plug-ins may require that you uninstall them manually. If this is the case, follow the instructions provided by the plug-in developer.

In conclusion, Safari plug-ins can be a useful addition to your browsing experience, but it’s important to manage them properly to avoid potential issues. By following these simple steps, you can view, manage, or remove plug-ins as needed to ensure that your browsing experience is smooth and trouble-free.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
