Microsoft Edge is a popular web browser that offers many features to enhance your browsing experience. One of these features is Web Notes, which allows you to annotate and highlight web pages. In this article, we’ll show you how to use Web Notes in Microsoft Edge.

Step 1: Open a Web Page

The first step is to open a web page in Microsoft Edge. Once you’ve found a page you want to annotate, click on the “Make a Web Note” button in the top right corner of the browser window. This will open the Web Notes toolbar.

Step 2: Use the Web Notes Toolbar

The Web Notes toolbar has several tools that you can use to annotate the web page. The first tool is the pen, which allows you to draw on the page. You can change the color and thickness of the pen by clicking on the drop-down menus next to the pen icon.

The second tool is the highlighter, which allows you to highlight text on the page. You can change the color of the highlighter by clicking on the drop-down menu next to the highlighter icon.

The third tool is the eraser, which allows you to erase any annotations you’ve made on the page.

The fourth tool is the clipper, which allows you to clip a section of the page and save it to OneNote.

Step 3: Add Text and Sticky Notes

The Web Notes toolbar also includes tools for adding text and sticky notes to the page. To add text, click on the “Add a text box” button and type your text. You can change the font, size, and color of the text by clicking on the drop-down menus next to the text box.

To add a sticky note, click on the “Add a sticky note” button and type your note. You can resize and move the sticky note to any location on the page.

Step 4: Save and Share Your Web Notes

Once you’ve finished annotating the web page, you can save your Web Notes by clicking on the “Save” button in the top right corner of the Web Notes toolbar. You can then access your Web Notes by clicking on the “Hub” button in the top right corner of the browser window and selecting “Web Notes” from the menu.

You can also share your Web Notes by clicking on the “Share” button in the top right corner of the Web Notes toolbar. This will open a menu where you can choose to share your Web Notes via email, social media, or other apps.

In conclusion, Web Notes is a useful feature in Microsoft Edge that allows you to annotate and highlight web pages. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can start using Web Notes to enhance your browsing experience.
