Using voice dictation on your iPhone or iPad is easy. Here’s how to do it:

1. 1. Open an app that allows you to enter text, such as Messages, Notes, or Mail.

2. 2. Tap on the text field to bring up the keyboard.

3. 3. Tap on the microphone icon to the left of the space bar. This will bring up the dictation screen.

4. Punctuation can be added by saying the name of the punctuation mark (e.g., “period”, “comma”, “question mark”).
Editing and Formatting Text

After you have dictated your text, you may need to edit or format it. Here’s how to do it:

1. To delete a word, say “delete” or “backspace”.

2. To capitalize a word, say “caps” before the word.

3. To add a new line, say “new line”.

4. To add a period, say “period” or “full stop”.

5. To add a question mark, say “question mark”.

6. To add an exclamation point, say “exclamation point” or “exclamation mark”.
