How To Turn Off Your iPhone

Turning off your iPhone may seem like a simple task, but for those who are new to the iPhone, it can be a bit confusing. In this article, we will go over the steps to turn off your iPhone.

Step 1: Press and Hold the Side Button

To turn off your iPhone, press and hold the side button on your iPhone. This is the button that is located on the right side of your iPhone. Hold the button down for a few seconds until you see the “slide to power off” option appear on the screen.

Step 2: Slide to Power Off

Once the “slide to power off” option appears on the screen, use your finger to swipe the slider to the right. This will turn off your iPhone.

Step 3: Wait for Your iPhone to Turn Off

After you slide the slider to the right, your iPhone will begin to shut down. It may take a few seconds for your iPhone to turn off completely, so be patient.

If you want to turn your iPhone back on, simply press and hold the side button again until the Apple logo appears on the screen. This may take a few seconds, but your iPhone will eventually turn back on.
