As an iOS user, you might experience difficulty in removing pinned message conversations on your device. By pinning conversations, you can easily access them all in one place. However, when you want to unpin a conversation, it might seem confusing at first. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps required to unpin message conversations in iOS.

Step 1: Open Messages app on your iOS device

The first step is to locate the Messages app on your iPhone or iPad. Click on the app to open it.

Step 2: Identify the pinned message conversation

In the Messages app, you’ll find a message conversation that has been pinned. Look for the conversation amongst all the other chats.

Step 3: Swipe left over the pinned conversation

After you’ve found the pinned conversation, swipe left over it. Swiping left will reveal a few options, including pin, hide alerts, and delete.

Step 4: Tap on the “unpin” option

When you swipe left over the conversation, you’ll see the option to unpin it. Tap on the “unpin” option, and the conversation will be removed from your pinned messages.

Step 5: Confirm that the conversation has been unpinned

After you’ve tapped on the “unpin” option, the conversation will be removed from your pinned messages. To confirm that it has been successfully unpinned, check the conversation’s location.

Step 6: If you want to re-pin the conversation, follow these steps

If you wish to re-pin the conversation, swipe left on it again, tap on the “pin” option, and it will be pinned back to the top of your Messages app.

In conclusion, unpinning message conversations in iOS can seem challenging but following the above steps, you’ll be able to unpin your chats in no time. Keep in mind that the process of unpinning conversations is the same on both the iPhone and iPad. We hope you find this guide helpful.
