As an Android user, you might have come across some situations where you needed to turn on the Safe Mode on your device. Safe Mode is a feature that’s designed to help you troubleshoot problems that might be caused by third-party apps. When you turn on Safe Mode, only the pre-installed apps on your device will be active, which can help you isolate the issue.

In this article, we’ll guide you on how to turn the Safe Mode On and Off on your Android device.

How to Turn On Safe Mode on Android

To turn on the Safe Mode on your Android device, you need to follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Press and hold the Power button of your device for a few seconds until the power menu appears on your screen.

Step 2: Touch and hold the Power Off option until the prompt to reboot your device in Safe Mode appears.

Step 3: Tap OK to enter Safe Mode.

Once your device starts up in Safe Mode, you’ll see a “Safe Mode” label at the bottom-left corner of your screen.

How to Turn Off Safe Mode on Android

If you’re done troubleshooting your device and want to exit Safe Mode, follow these steps:

Step 1: Press and hold the Power button until the menu appears.

Step 2: Tap the “Restart” button to reboot your device.

Step 3: Once the device restarts, it will not be in Safe Mode.

Alternatively, you can also force your device to exit Safe Mode by powering off your device, removing the battery (if it’s removable), and then reinserting it and turning your device back on.

Conclusion

Turning on Safe Mode on your Android device can be helpful when you’re troubleshooting problems caused by third-party apps. By following the simple steps mentioned above, you can quickly turn on and off the Safe Mode on your Android device.

However, it’s important to remember that Safe Mode disables all the third-party apps on your device. So, if you’re having issues with a specific app, Safe Mode can help you isolate the problem. But if the problem persists even in Safe Mode, then it’s likely a hardware issue, and you will need to contact your device’s manufacturer.
