Are you tired of Netflix autoplaying previews and episodes after you finish watching your favorite show? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. The good news is that you can actually turn off this feature.

Netflix autoplay feature is designed to make the streaming experience smoother by automatically playing the next episode of a TV show and previewing other titles on the platform. However, this feature can be pretty frustrating for many reasons. For example, it’s common to hear someone complain about the sudden sound of a new show starting or a trailer for a movie that they have no interest in. To avoid these nuisances, here is a step-by-step guide on how to turn off Netflix autoplay feature.

Step 1: Log in to your Netflix account

Before you start turning off the autoplay feature, you must log in to your Netflix account using your login credentials.

Step 2: Click on the “Profile” icon

The “Profile” icon is usually located on the top right corner of your Netflix account home screen. Click on the icon to reveal a list of profiles associated with your account.

Step 3: Select your profile

If you have multiple profiles associated with your account, select the one you want to customize.

Step 4: Navigate to “Playback settings”

Once you have selected the desired profile, navigate to the “Playback settings” option located on the right side of the profile’s name.

Step 5: Turn off autoplay of episodes

To turn off the autoplay of episodes, uncheck the box next to the “Autoplay next episode in a series on all devices” option.

Step 6: Turn off autoplay of previews

To turn off the autoplay of previews, uncheck the box next to the “Autoplay previews while browsing on all devices” option.

Step 7: Save changes

Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Save” button to save the changes you have made.

In conclusion, Netflix autoplay is designed to enhance user experience, but a lot of people find it frustrating. Thankfully, it is easy to turn off this feature by following the above-mentioned steps. Now, you can enjoy your favorite TV shows without any distractions. Enjoy your binge-watching experience!
