If you’re an iPhone user and you’ve noticed that your data usage has been slower than usual, it’s likely that your phone’s low data mode is on. While the feature is useful in saving your data, it can be frustrating when you need to use the internet quickly. The good news is that turning off low data mode is simple – here’s how.

Step 1: Open Settings

First, head to your phone’s settings by selecting the app on your home screen. It’s identifiable by a gear icon.

Step 2: Select Cellular

Once you’re in your iPhone’s settings, find the ‘Cellular’ option. This should be located towards the top of your options list.

Step 3: Turn off Low Data Mode

Under your ‘Cellular’ options, scroll through until you find ‘Low Data Mode.’ Toggle this switch off to turn off low data mode.

It’s worth noting that there are other ways to turn off low data mode that are less straightforward. For example, you can ask Siri to turn it off for you by saying “Hey Siri, turn off Low Data Mode.” Additionally, turning off Wi-Fi assist, which helps your phone switch between Wi-Fi networks and cellular data, can prevent low data mode from turning on.

In conclusion, turning off low data mode on your iPhone is a quick process that can have your data usage back to normal in no time. By following these three simple steps, you can navigate your way to the ‘Cellular’ options and switch off the low data mode feature. Remember to keep an eye on your data usage after to ensure it’s still within your plan’s limits. Happy browsing!
