The PlayStation 5 (PS5) is one of the latest gaming consoles released by Sony. It boasts enhanced graphics, faster load times, and a user-friendly interface. One of its most convenient features is the ability to take screenshots. With the PS5, you can easily capture important moments in your games and share them with your friends. In this article, we’ll discuss how to take a screenshot on PS5.

Method 1: Using the DualSense Controller

Step 1: Press the “Create” Button

The DualSense controller features a “Create” button specifically dedicated to capturing screenshots and videos. To use this feature, you’ll need to start by playing your game and find a moment you’d like to capture. Once you’ve decided on your shot, press the “Create” button located in the middle of your controller.

Step 2: Select “Screenshot”

After you press the “Create” button, a menu will appear on your screen. Select the “Screenshot” option at the top of the menu. This will instantly take a screenshot of whatever is displayed on your screen.

Step 3: Save Your Screenshot

Once you’ve taken your screenshot, you can either choose to save it to your PS5’s internal memory or to an external device such as a USB drive. To save to your PS5, simply confirm that you’d like to save your screenshot by selecting “Save.”

Method 2: Using the PS5 Mobile App

Step 1: Download the PS5 Mobile App

The PS5 Mobile app allows you to remotely control your PS5 through your mobile device. To take a screenshot using the PS5 Mobile app, you’ll need to first download the app to your mobile device.

Step 2: Connect Your Mobile Device to Your PS5

Once you’ve downloaded the PS5 Mobile app, you’ll need to connect it to your PS5. To do so, make sure both your mobile device and PS5 are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Launch the PS5 Mobile app and follow the on-screen prompts to connect to your PS5.

Step 3: Capture Your Screenshot

Once your mobile device is successfully connected to your PS5, you can begin taking screenshots. To do so, navigate to the game you’d like to capture and find the moment you’d like to screenshot. On your mobile device, tap the “Second Screen” tab at the bottom of the PS5 Mobile app. This will display a replica of your PS5 screen. From here, tap the camera icon in the top right corner to take a screenshot.

Conclusion:

Taking screenshots on the PS5 is a simple and straightforward process. By following these two methods, you can easily capture and save your favorite gaming moments to be shared with your friends and followers. Whether using the DualSense controller or the PS5 Mobile app, you’ll never miss out on capturing your memorable gaming moments.
