As the world becomes more digitally advanced, communication technology has also evolved rapidly. Many businesses these days rely on telephones to communicate with their clients and customers. When making calls to companies, you may be required to dial an extension number to reach the right person or department. This can be a bit frustrating, especially if you have to keep doing it repeatedly. Thankfully, technology has made life easier with an automatic dialing feature. In this article, we will discuss how to automatically dial extensions on Android devices.

1. The first step is to open your phone’s “Phone” app which can be found on the home screen or app drawer.

2. Once the Phone app is open, you will need to access its settings menu. To do this, locate and tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. A dropdown menu will appear with a range of options to choose from. Tap on “Settings” from the list.

4. In the Settings menu, find and tap on “Calling accounts.” This option may be found differently depending on the phone model and Android version.

5. Select the SIM card or desired calling account you wish to set up automatic dialing for.

6. Next, tap on “Additional Settings” and then select “Auto Dial.” This option may not be available on some devices.

7. Turn on the Auto Dial feature and then add the extension number to the Phone Number field. It is important to include the pause symbol “p” and the extension number when inputting it. For example, if the extension number is “123”, your phone number field should look like this: “0123456789p123”

8. Once you have added the pause symbol and the extension number, tap on the “save” button to save and exit.

Now, whenever you need to reach the person or department with the extension number, you can simply input the main phone number and the Auto Dial feature will automatically dial the extension number for you. This means you don’t have to do it manually every time you make a call.

Another way to set up automatic dialling is by using third-party apps specifically designed for this purpose. Apps like Auto Dialer Expert, Auto Dialer Pro, and Auto Dialer Shortcut provide users with more advanced features like a pause time before dialing, advanced scheduling options, and group dialing. These apps are easy to set up, and they can help to save time and streamline your phone calls.

In conclusion, setting up automatic extension dialing on your Android device is a simple process that can help you save time and improve productivity. By following the steps mentioned above or using third-party apps, you can quickly set it up and enjoy the convenience it provides.
