Discord has become one of the most popular chatting apps among gamers and content creators. It allows users to communicate with others through text, voice chat, and video calls. Along with that, Discord also lets users share videos with their friends and family. In this article, we’ll give you a detailed guide on how to send videos on Discord on PC, Android, and iOS.

Method 1 – Sending videos on Discord through the Desktop App

The desktop version of Discord is particularly beneficial for Discord users who want to send videos. The platform permits its users to share files up to 8 MB. However, suppose you need to send more prominent files, you’ll have to upload the video to a third-party hosting service like YouTube and share the link on Discord. Here’s how to send videos on Discord on your PC:

Step 1. Open the Discord App on your desktop.

Step 2. Find the server that you want to send the video to.

Step 3. Click on the channel where you want to share the video.

Step 4. Click on the plus button on the left of the text bar.

Step 5. Select the “Upload Files” option.

Step 6. Navigate to the folder where your video is kept and select it.

Step 7. Click “Open” to upload the video.

Method 2 – Sending videos on Discord through the Android and iOS App

You can also send videos on Discord through your mobile phone, whether you’re using an Android or iOS device. Here is how to send videos on Discord on Android and iOS:

Step 1. Launch the Discord app on your mobile phone.

Step 2. Choose the server you want to send the video to.

Step 3. Tap on the channel where you want to send the video.

Step 4. Click on the plus icon on the left side of the screen.

Step 5. Tap on the “Upload” option.

Step 6. Find the folder in which your video is kept and select it.

Step 7. Tap “Send” to upload the video.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Discord is an easy and friendly platform for sending videos on desktop and mobile devices. However, when sending larger videos that are more massive than 8MB, it’s advisable to upload the video to a third-party hosting service to share. We hope the guide above has helped you understand how to send videos on Discord on PC, Android, and iOS.
