Spread the love

Snapchat has become a popular social media platform to express your emotions and share your thoughts with your friends and family through memes, pictures, texts, and now, GIFs. Gone are the days where people used to send a bunch of boring texts, now you can send lively animated GIFs to make your conversations more engaging and exciting.

If you are wondering how to send Snapchat GIFs, here’s everything you need to know:

Step 1: Launch Snapchat

Open Snapchat on your Android or iOS device and sign in to your account.

Step 2: Open Chat

Tap on the Chat icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Select Contact

Choose the contact you want to send a GIF to.

Step 4: Open GIFs

On the chat screen, tap on the smiley face icon on the right side of the message box to open the Stickers and Emojis menu.

Step 5: Browse GIFs

Scroll through the menu and find “GIFs” located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 6: Search for a GIF

Type in a keyword for the type of GIF you want to send, or you can browse through the categories to find something that suits your mood.

Step 7: Select a GIF

Select a GIF from the options available, preview it and tap on the “Send” button.

Step 8: Share using Discover

You can also share GIFs directly from Snapchat Discover. Hold down on the GIF of choice, then press and hold on the image until an option to “Send To” appears. Once that happens, select your contact from the list provided.

Step 9: Personalize

Add some personal creativity to your animated GIFs by using the editing tools. You can add emojis, text, change the size, and position to make your GIFs unique.

Using Snapchat GIFs is an excellent way to make your conversations more engaging, fun, and exciting. So, what are you waiting for? Send some amazing animated GIFs to your friends and family and make their day!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
