Have you ever accidentally deleted an important text message on your Samsung phone and wished you could retrieve it? Well, good news! It is actually possible to recover deleted texts on your Samsung phone.

Before we dive into the steps, it is important to note that retrieving deleted texts is not guaranteed. Once text messages are deleted from your phone, they are not permanently erased. Instead, they are marked as “deleted” and stored in a temporary location on your phone’s memory. Until the space is overwritten by new data, the deleted text messages can still be recovered.

Now let’s get into the steps on how to retrieve deleted texts on a Samsung phone:

Step 1: Stop using your phone immediately

As mentioned earlier, deleted text messages are not permanently erased until the space is overwritten by new data. Using your phone after deleting messages may overwrite the deleted texts, making it impossible to retrieve them. Therefore, the first step is to stop using your phone and turn off all automatic updates and syncing until you have retrieved the deleted texts.

Step 2: Download a data recovery app

There are several data recovery apps on the market that can help retrieve deleted texts on your Samsung phone. Some popular options include EaseUS MobiSaver, Dr. Fone, and Recuva. These apps work by scanning your phone’s memory for deleted data and allowing you to retrieve it.

Step 3: Install and launch the data recovery app

Once you have selected a data recovery app, download and install it on your computer. Connect your Samsung phone to the computer using a USB cable and launch the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to allow the app to scan your phone’s memory.

Step 4: Select the text messages to recover

After the app completes the scan, it will display a list of all the deleted files, including text messages. Select the text messages you want to retrieve, and the app will restore them to your computer.

Step 5: Transfer the retrieved text messages to your Samsung phone

Once the text messages have been retrieved and saved on your computer, you can transfer them back to your Samsung phone. Import the messages into your messaging app, and they will appear as if they were never deleted.
