As a PlayStation 4 owner, you might have added various users to your system over time. It can be your siblings, friends or roommates. However, when it is time to remove an account from your PS4, it can be challenging to figure out how to delete a user. Deleting a user on your PS4 is a simple process that can be done in just a few clicks. Here are some steps on how to delete a user on PS4:

Step 1: Turn on your PS4

Make sure you turn on your PlayStation 4 console and sign in with the administrator account. You won’t be able to delete another user account from your PS4 without signing in as the primary user on the console.

Step 2: Navigate to “Settings”

Once you’re logged into your account, navigate to the “Settings” option on your PS4 home screen. You can find it by scrolling horizontally to the far right of the screen.

Step 3: Select “Log in settings”

After opening the “Settings” option, scroll down and select “Login Settings” from the list.

Step 4: Choose “User management”

Select “User management” from the list of options after opening “Login Settings.” Doing so will give you access to different user accounts linked to your PS4.

Step 5: Choose “Delete user”

Select “Delete user” from the User Management options. You’ll have the option to delete the account and all associated saved data or simply remove the account from your system.

Step 6: Choose the user to delete

After selecting “Delete user,” it will show a list of users who are currently signed in. Choose the user account that you wish to remove from your PS4 and click “OK.”

Step 7: Check for saved data

It is always a good idea to double-check whether there is any critical saved data that you need to save before deleting an account from your PS4.

Step 8: Confirm the deletion

Finally, confirm the deletion process by clicking “Delete” if you are sure you want to delete the user account.

In conclusion, removing a user from your PS4 is a simple process that can be done in just a few clicks. However, always remember that all saved data linked to the user account will be deleted, so make sure you have a backup before performing this action. We hope this guide helped you in understanding how to delete a user on PS4 easily.
