How to Recover Lost Drafts on TikTok

TikTok has gained enormous popularity worldwide as a social media platform where people can share short videos of themselves, funny incidents, dances, and much more. It has become a platform for self-expression to people of all ages. However, the platform can be frustrating if you accidentally lose your drafts that you have put a lot of effort and time into. Losing a draft can be disappointing, but there are ways to retrieve or recover the lost draft on TikTok.

Here are some of the ways to recover lost drafts on TikTok:

1. Check the Draft folder

When you add a new video to your TikTok account, it first saves as a draft. TikTok saves all your drafts in a folder on the app so that you can access them later. You need to open your TikTok account and click on the ‘Plus’ icon at the bottom of the app’s screen. This will take you to the ‘Create a video’ screen. Scroll up, and you will find the ‘Drafts’ folder. All drafts that you have saved will appear there, and you can open them by clicking on them.

2. Check the app cache on your device

If you cannot find your draft in the TikTok ‘Drafts’ folder, try checking the app cache on your device. The app’s cache stores the data of your TikTok videos, and it is possible that your lost draft could be there. To check the cache, go to ‘Device Settings’, then to ‘Storage’, and tap on ‘Cached data’. If you find the TikTok cache there, clear the cache, and restart the app then check your drafts folder again.

3. Use Data Recovery Software

If you still can’t find your lost drafts, you can try recovering your data using data recovery software. Data recovery software is a tool designed to recover deleted or lost files on computers and mobile devices. You can use data recovery software such as EaseUS to recover the lost TikTok draft from your device. EaseUS is a reliable and user-friendly software that can recover different types of data, including videos, photos, emails, and documents.
