Printing from your iPhone is no longer a challenge with the modern printer technology. It is super easy even when you lack wifi connection. These days, printers come with wireless printing options, and you can print from your iPhone within minutes with or without wifi connection.

Method 1: Using AirPrint to Print From iPhone With WiFi

The most straightforward method to use wireless printing from your iPhone is via AirPrint. The majority of modern printers come with built-in AirPrint technology that supports wireless printing. With this technology, you can wirelessly connect your printer and iPhone without the need for additional software.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Ensure you have a compatible printer. Check in the manual that the printer supports AirPrint printing, or alternatively, check online through the printer manufacturer’s website.

Step 2: Turn on the printer and connect it to your wifi network. If your printer doesn’t have wifi connectivity, you can connect it to your router with an Ethernet cable.

Step 3: Now it’s time to connect your iPhone to the same wifi network that your printer is connected to.

Step 4: From your iPhone, open the document you wish to print and click on the “Print” icon. If you don’t know where the “Print” icon is, look for the three horizontal dots or an arrow.

Step 5: A pop-up screen will show a list of nearby printers. You should see the name of your printer listed. Click on it.

Step 6: Once you click on the printer, specify how many copies you need, black and white or color printing, and the page orientation. Then, click on “Print.”

Voila! Your document should now be printing.

Method 2: Using Google Cloud Print to Print From iPhone Without WiFi

In some cases, you might not have any wifi network to connect your iPhone, but you need to print an urgent document from your iPhone. Fortunately, Google Cloud Print is a tool that you can use to print from your iPhone even without wifi using the cellular data network.

Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Ensure you have a printer that’s Google Cloud Print enabled. If your printer does not support Google Cloud Print, you can configure it by visiting the Google Cloud Print website, and then selecting “Printers.”

Step 2: On your iPhone, open the document you wish to print, tap on the “Share” icon, which looks like a square with an upward arrow.

Step 3: After clicking the “Share” icon, you will see a list of options. Scroll down until you see the option “Print.”

Step 4: You’ll be taken to a new screen, where you’ll be asked to select a printer. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the option “Select Printer.”

Step 5: A list of available printers will appear. Select “Google Cloud Print” at the bottom.

Step 6: You’ll be asked to sign in with your Google account details. Once you’ve signed in, select your printer from the list.

Step 7: Then, print your document and wait for it to be printed.

Conclusion

Printing from your iPhone is no longer a struggle, whether you’re connected to wifi or not. With the two methods mentioned above, you can easily print your documents or photos. Thanks to modern technology, printing from your iPhone is now more accessible than ever before.
