Step 1: Prepare Your Supplies

Gather the necessary materials, including a lash curler, a volumizing mascara, and a mascara brush or spoolie.

Step 2: Curl Your Lashes

Start by curling your eyelashes with a lash curler. Hold the curler close to the base of your lashes and gently press down for a few seconds. Repeat this step two or three times to achieve your desired level of curl.

Step 3: Apply Mascara Base Layer

Apply a thin layer of volumizing mascara starting from the base of your lashes working upwards to create a solid foundation for the clumpy eyelash look.

Step 4: Wiggle The Wand

When applying more mascara, wiggle the wand back and forth in small motions as you move it from the base to the tips of the lashes. This will help separate and distribute the product evenly on your eyelashes.

Step 5: Add More Layers

Apply multiple layers of mascara by repeating Step 3 and Step 4 until you achieve your desired clumpiness. Allow each layer to partially dry before applying more mascara.

Step 6: Focus On The Tips

To ensure clumpy tips, add more product to the tips of your lashes by tapping or dotting them with your mascara wand.

Step 7: Separate Lashes With Spoolie

Use a clean mascara brush or spoolie to comb through your lashes. This will help remove any excess product while leaving behind some intentional clumps.

Step 8: Use Tweezers (optional)

If you want larger clumps in specific areas, use tweezers to pinch and cluster your lashes together while the mascara is still wet. Be careful not to irritate your eye area when doing this.

Step 9: Experiment With Different Mascaras (optional)

You may find that some mascaras provide a better clumpy effect than others, so try experimenting with a variety of products to find one that gives you the desired result.

Step 10: Finish With Confidence

Once you’ve achieved your clumpy eyelash look, be confident in your unique style and rock it all day (or night) long.

By following these 10 steps, you can master the clumpy eyelash look and add a bold twist to your makeup routine. Remember that practice makes perfect, so don’t get discouraged if it takes a few tries to achieve your desired look. Happy clumping!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
