TikTok is the app that is taking the world by storm. With its popularity, users are always looking for new ways to create engaging content to share with their followers. One of the best ways to spruce up your videos is by adding sound. Here’s how to make a sound on TikTok:

1. Browse through the app

The first step in creating a sound on TikTok is to browse through the app’s built-in sound library. There are plenty of sound options to choose from, ranging from popular song lyrics to comedy skits.

2. Record your own sound

If you can’t find a sound that suits your video, you can record your own. To do this, go to the video recording screen, and tap the “Sounds” button. You’ll be given the option to record a sound through your device’s microphone or upload an existing sound file.

3. Edit your sound

Once you have your sound recorded or found in the app’s library, you can edit it to fit your video. You can adjust the timing, trim the sound, or even apply filters to it. To do this, click on the “Edit Sound” button next to the sound and follow the prompts.

4. Save your sound

After editing, give your sound a unique name and save it. It will now appear in your sound library, ready to be added to any future videos.

5. Share your video

Now that your sound is ready, it’s time to share your video with the world! Simply record your video and add your sound by selecting it from the sound library. Once done, share it with your followers or the TikTok community.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
