Gmail is one of the most widely used email services in the world. With over 1.5 billion users, Gmail is known for its excellent spam filters and offering one of the most user-friendly interfaces. However, sometimes you might get a flood of emails that you don’t need, or you may want certain types of emails to go into specific folders. In such cases, Gmail allows you to filter your incoming email messages. In this article, we will be discussing how you can hack your Gmail address to filter messages and add addresses.

Step by Step Guide for Hacking Your Gmail Address

Step 1: Log into Your Gmail Account

The first step is to log into your Gmail account. You can do this by visiting the Gmail homepage and entering your email address and password.

Step 2: Click on the “Settings” Icon

Once you have logged in, you will see a gear icon on the top right-hand corner of the page. Click on this icon to access the “Settings” page.

Step 3: Navigate to “Filters and Blocked Addresses”

On the “Settings” page, you will see several tabs. Choose the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab to proceed.

Step 4: Create a New Filter

Click on the “Create a new filter” button to create a new filter.

Step 5: Select Your Filter Criteria

In the “From” section, enter the email address you want to filter. If you want to filter specific words or email addresses from the subject line, enter them in the “Subject” section. You can also choose to filter emails based on the content of the email or other criteria.

Step 6: Select the Action You Want to Take

Once you have selected the filter criteria, choose the action you want to take. You can choose to delete the email, send it to a specific folder, or mark it as read. You can also choose to apply the filter to all matching emails.

Step 7: Save Your Filter

Once you have completed all the filter criteria and selected the action you want to take, click on the “Create filter” button to save your filter.

Step 8: Add Addresses to Your Contacts

Now that you have learned how to filter your Gmail messages, it’s time to add addresses to your contacts. This will ensure that all emails from specific people or companies will automatically go to your inbox instead of spam.

To add addresses to your contacts, click on the “Google apps” icon on the top right-hand side of your Gmail homepage. Select “Contacts” from the dropdown menu. From there, you can click on “Create contact” to add a new contact manually or import contacts from a CSV file.

Wrapping Up

In conclusion, hacking your Gmail address to filter messages and add addresses is a simple process that can save you a lot of time and reduce clutter in your inbox. By following these steps, you can easily filter your emails and add important addresses to your contacts. Now, you can enjoy a more organized and efficient Gmail experience!
