Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a game that’s all about building a community and exploring a deserted island. One of the most popular materials that you can collect on the island is bamboo. Bamboo is a highly valuable resource in the game, and it’s used for crafting different items like tools, furniture, and even flooring. However, it’s not easy to obtain bamboo in the game, and many players struggle with finding it.

If you’re also having trouble getting bamboo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, then here’s a guide that will help you collect this valuable resource.

Visit Mystery Islands – The best way to get bamboo is by visiting mystery islands using Nook miles Tickets. By going to different mystery islands, you can explore new terrains and gather various resources. Keep looking for a bamboo island. Bamboo Island is a very rare mystery island, but keep trying; you will eventually find one.

Chop Down Bamboo Trees – Once you’ve found bamboo trees, chop them down with the axe. You’ll get bamboo pieces and young spring bamboo as resources. You can use the bamboo pieces to create tools, fencing, and furniture, while young spring bamboo can make more specific items like clothes or seasonal decorations.

Plant Bamboo Shoots – Once you’ve collected bamboo, you can also plant bamboo shoots to grow more of it. Bamboo is an incredibly fast-growing resource, so you can quickly multiply your stockpile with just a few shoots. To plant them, dig a hole in the ground and bury the bamboo shoot. Give it a few days, and you’ll have a brand new bamboo tree.

Trade with Other Players – If you’re having trouble finding bamboo, you can also trade with other players. Look for trading threads on forums or social media groups, and you may find players willing to trade their bamboo for the items you have.

Final Thoughts

Getting bamboo in Animal Crossing: New Horizons takes time and patience, but it’s worth it. Bamboo is a valuable resource that can be used in many ways, and it makes your island look even more beautiful. Keep visiting mystery islands and planting bamboo shoots, and soon you’ll have enough of it to create whatever you want.
