Animal Crossing New Horizons is a delightful game that offers a lot of unique experiences. In the game, players have to collect various resources and tools to build up their island and make their dreams come true. One such essential tool is the ladder, which allows players to climb up cliffs and access higher areas of the island. In this article, we will explain how you can get a ladder in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Before we get into the details, it’s important to know that you won’t have access to a ladder from the very beginning of the game. In fact, you can only acquire it once you have progressed a bit.

To get the ladder in Animal Crossing New Horizons, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Upgrade Resident Services

The first step is to upgrade your Resident Services building. This is the building where Tom Nook and Isabelle work, and it’s located in the center of your island. You can upgrade it by completing various tasks, like building homes for new villagers.

Step 2: Complete Blathers’ Museum

Once you have upgraded Resident Services, you should start working on Blathers’ Museum. This requires you to catch various insects and fish and donate them to Blathers. Once you have donated at least 15 unique creatures, Blathers will ask you to help him secure funding for building his museum. To do this, you need to talk to Tom Nook and begin collecting iron nuggets, hardwood, and softwood.

Step 3: Build the Shop

Once you have secured enough funding for the museum, it’s time to build the shop. Once again, you will need to talk to Tom Nook, and he will ask you to find a suitable location for the shop. Once you have found the perfect spot, Tom Nook will ask you to collect more resources, including wood, iron nuggets, and hardwood.

Step 4: Tom Nook Gives you the Ladder Recipe

Finally, after completing all the above steps, Tom Nook will give you the recipe for the ladder. You will need to gather the necessary resources, which include four pieces of wood and four pieces of hardwood, to craft the ladder. Once you have crafted it, the ladder will go into your inventory, and you can use it to explore your island.

Conclusion:

Getting a ladder in Animal Crossing New Horizons is not a simple task, but it’s definitely worth it. With the ladder, you can access new areas of your island and make it even more beautiful. The above steps will help you get the ladder in the game, but remember to be patient and complete all the necessary tasks. Good luck!
