Are you craving that elusive floating present in Animal Crossing? They may seem daunting at first, but with a bit of dedication and patience, you too can snag one for your collection. Here are a few tips to get you started:

1. Be Patient:

Floating presents are completely random, so you’ll need to keep an eye on the sky every day. However, they tend to be more common when it’s windy or snowy outside.

2. Know When to Look:

Floating presents appear in the game starting in November and continue through February. Keep an eye out during these months, and be on the lookout for any windy days.

3. Listen for the Music:

When a present appears, you’ll hear a distinct jingle playing. Once you hear it, quickly look around to pinpoint the present’s location.

4. Use Your Net:

Once you have the present’s location, equip your net and aim it towards the present. It may take a few tries, but keep at it until you successfully catch the present.

5. Get Some Help from Friends:

If you’re struggling to catch a present on your own, try playing with friends. Have them join your island and help you look for floating presents. With more eyes on the sky, you’re more likely to spot one.

6. Check Your Mail:

If you manage to catch a floating present, you’ll find seasonal-themed items inside. Some may even be rare or unique to that year, so make sure to check your mail the next day for your new item.

By following these tips, you should be able to catch that elusive floating present in no time. Remember to be patient, keep an eye on the sky, and listen for that distinctive jingle. Happy present hunting!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
