Call of Duty: Vanguard is one of the most popular first-person shooter games out there. However, many users have reported that the game won’t start on Windows 11. This issue could be caused by a variety of factors, including compatibility errors, outdated drivers, or corrupted game files. Whatever the reason may be, we’ve got you covered with a few possible solutions to fix Call of Duty: Vanguard not starting on Windows 11.

Solution 1: Update Your Graphics Drivers

One of the most common causes of games not starting is outdated graphics drivers. You can easily update your graphics card driver by following these steps:

Step 1: Press the Windows key + X on your keyboard and select Device Manager from the list of options.

Step 2: Locate your graphics card under the Display Adapters section.

Step 3: Right-click on your graphics card and select Update driver.

Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest driver for your graphics card.

Solution 2: Check for Compatibility Issues

If you’re running a version of Windows that’s not compatible with the game, you may experience issues with Call of Duty: Vanguard not starting. The game is designed to run on Windows 10, but it should also work on Windows 11. To check if your system is compatible with the game, you can use compatibility mode:

Step 1: Right-click on the game’s shortcut or .exe file and select Properties.

Step 2: Click on the Compatibility tab.

Step 3: Check the box beside “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”

Step 4: Select Windows 10 from the dropdown menu.

Step 5: Click OK to save the changes.

Solution 3: Verify Game Files

Games have a lot of files, and sometimes some of these files can become corrupted, which can cause issues with the game not starting. To verify the game files:

Step 1: Open the Battle.net client.

Step 2: Click on Call of Duty: Vanguard from the game library.

Step 3: Click on Options and select Scan and Repair.

Step 4: Wait for the process to complete and check if the game starts normally.

Solution 4: Reinstall the Game

If none of the above solutions work, you may need to reinstall the game. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Open the Battle.net client.

Step 2: Click on Call of Duty: Vanguard from the game library.

Step 3: Click on Options and select Uninstall Game.

Step 4: Once the game is uninstalled, reinstall it.

Step 5: Wait for the game to download and install and check if it starts properly.

Conclusion

These are some of the solutions you can try to fix the Call of Duty: Vanguard not starting issue on Windows 11. If none of these solutions work, you may need to contact the game’s support team for further assistance. Remember, the key to solving any issue is to be patient and persistent in your troubleshooting efforts. Good luck!
