As technology continues to evolve, so do the ways in which we use our smartphones. With millions of apps available on the Google Play Store, it’s easy to lose track of the ones you’ve downloaded or even forget about the ones you’ve hidden. Finding these hidden apps can be a daunting task, but fear not, as we’ve put together a guide on how to find hidden apps on Android.

1. Check your app drawer

The first thing to do is to check your app drawer, especially if you’re already suspecting that an app is hidden. This is the place where all apps are stored, and hidden apps may be located here as well. Start by swiping up on the home screen to access the app drawer. Look for any apps that you don’t recognize or that you’ve hidden before.

2. Use the “Show Hidden Apps” option

Some launchers have the “Show Hidden Apps” option that makes it easy to find hidden apps. If your launcher has this option, long press on the home screen to access the launcher settings, then select “Show Hidden Apps.” This will display all the apps that are currently hidden on your Android device.

3. Check the installed apps list

Another way to find hidden apps is to check the installed apps list. To do this, go to the Google Play Store and select “My apps & games.” You’ll see a list of all the apps installed on your device. Look for any apps that you don’t recognize or remember installing.

4. Use a third-party app

If all else fails, you can use a third-party app to find hidden apps on your Android device. Two popular options are App Lock & Gallery Vault and Hidden Apps Detector. These apps can scan your device for hidden apps and display them in a list. They can also provide details about the hidden apps, such as when they were last used or accessed.

In conclusion, finding hidden apps on your Android device can be a bit tricky, but it’s not impossible. By using the tips above, you can quickly and easily locate any apps that you may have forgotten or intentionally hidden. Remember, it’s always a good idea to check your app list regularly to ensure that there are no unwanted or hidden apps on your device.
