Google Slides is one of the most popular presentation software in the market. It allows users to create great presentations with ease. However, not everyone knows how to embed videos into their presentations. In this article, we will guide you on how to embed video in Google Slides.

Step 1: Open your Google Slides presentation

The first step is to open your Google Slides presentation. You can do this by either clicking on the “Google Slides” button on your Google Drive account or by opening the Google Slides app on your desktop or mobile device.

Step 2: Choose the slide where you want to insert the video

After opening your presentation, choose the slide where you want to embed the video. Make sure that the slide you choose is the one where you want your audience to see the video.

Step 3: Select “Insert” and choose “Video”

Once you’ve selected the slide where you want to embed the video, click on “Insert” on the menu bar and select “Video”.

Step 4: Choose how you want to add the video

Google Slides gives you two options on how to add the video. You can either choose to insert a video from “Google Drive” or “Youtube”.

If you choose to insert a video from Google Drive, you’ll be asked to browse and select the video you want to add. However, if you choose to insert a video from Youtube, you’ll be asked to enter the URL of the video you want to add.

Step 5: Adjust the size and position of the video

After adding the video, you can now adjust its size and position on the slide. You can do this by clicking and dragging the video to your desired size and position. You can also use the toolbar located on the right side of the presentation to change the settings of your video.

Step 6: Preview the video

Before presenting your presentation, make sure to preview your video to ensure that it’s working properly. To do this, you can either play the video within the edit mode or go into presentation mode to test it out.

Conclusion

Overall, embedding videos into your Google Slides presentation can significantly enhance your presentation. By following the steps mentioned above, you can easily add videos into your Google Slides presentation and give your audience an engaging multimedia experience.
