Reddit is a popular social media platform that brings together millions of people with diverse interests from across the globe. As a user of the platform, you may access various posts, threads, and subreddits that interest you. Over time, this activity results in a large Reddit search history, which may compromise your privacy and security if left unchecked. Fortunately, you can delete your Reddit search history with a few simple steps outlined below.

Step 1: Log in to Your Reddit Account

The first step to erasing your search history on Reddit is to log in to your account. Visit the Reddit website and enter your login credentials: your username or email and password. If you’re already logged in, skip this step.

Step 2: Access Your User Profile

After logging in, you will see your Reddit homepage with popular posts and feeds. To access your user profile page, click on your username located at the top-right corner of the screen. This will open a drop-down menu with several options, including “User Settings.” Click on “User Settings” to continue.

Step 3: Access Your History

The next page will display your account settings, including preferences for notifications, email, and other features. To access your search history, scroll down to the “History” tab and click on “Search History.”

Step 4: Delete Your Search History

Once you click on “Search History,” you will be presented with a list of all your past Reddit searches. From here, you can delete individual search items using the “Delete” button next to each entry. Alternatively, you can select all search items and delete them at once by clicking on the “Clear Search History” button.

Step 5: Confirm Deletion

After you have selected the search items to delete, click on the “Delete” or “Clear Search History” button. A pop-up message will appear, asking you to confirm the deletion. Click on “Yes” to confirm and complete the deletion process.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
