Streamlabs is an excellent tool for live streaming on Mac. However, if you no longer need the application’s services, you may want to delete it. The process of deleting Streamlabs on Mac can be a little tricky, mainly if you have never done it before. In this article, we will guide you through the steps to smoothly uninstall the Streamlabs app on your Mac.

Before proceeding, it is recommendable to check for any active streams and close the app properly before uninstalling it. Also, ensure that you have a stable internet connection.

Method 1: Drag to Trash

One of the simplest ways to uninstall any application on your Mac is to drag it to the Trash. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Navigate to your “Applications” folder and find “Streamlabs.”

2. Click and hold the Streamlabs app until its icon starts to wiggle.

3. Drag the app’s icon to the “Trash” bin either on the Dock or in the Finder window.

4. If prompted, input your Mac password to confirm the removal process.

5. Empty the Trash bin by right-clicking and selecting “Empty Trash.”

6. Restart your Mac.

Method 2: Use Application’s Uninstaller

Some applications come with an uninstaller that simplifies the removal process. Here are the steps to use Streamlabs’ uninstaller:

1. Launch the Streamlabs app on your Mac.

2. Click on the “Streamlabs” menu on the top bar.

3. Select “Uninstall Streamlabs.”

4. Click “Uninstall” on the pop-up window.

5. Input your Mac password and click “OK” to confirm.

6. Wait for the removal process to complete.

7. Restart your Mac.

Method 3: Use Third-Party Uninstaller Apps

There are various third-party uninstaller apps for Mac that can help you remove applications and their residual files. These apps not only remove the app but also delete all its associated files and folders. Here are the steps to follow using CleanMyMac X.

1. Download and install CleanMyMac X (free trial) on your Mac.

2. Launch the app and click “Uninstaller.”

3. Select “Streamlabs” from the list of apps.

4. Click “Uninstall” and then “Remove.”

5. Input your Mac password and click “OK.”

6. The app will remove all residual files associated with Streamlabs.

7. Restart your Mac.

Conclusion

Deleting Streamlabs from your Mac is a simple process that requires a few steps. We have shared three methods to remove the app from your Mac: drag to trash, use the app’s uninstaller or third-party uninstaller apps such as CleanMyMac X. Whatever method you choose, ensure that you have completely removed all residual files for optimal Mac performance.
