Fitness trackers such as the Apple Watch are great devices to help you track your fitness journey. As you use your Apple Watch to track your workouts, you might find the need to delete some workouts that you no longer need. Maybe the workout was mistakenly logged, or you realize that you accidentally logged a workout for the wrong activity.

No matter why you need to delete a workout on your Apple Watch, we’ve got you covered. In this article, we’ll discuss the step-by-step guide to deleting a workout on your Apple Watch.

Step 1: Open the Activity App

Before you can delete a workout on your Apple Watch, you must first open the Activity app on your device. The Activity app is the app icon labeled with three colored concentric circles.

Step 2: Select the Workouts Tab

Once you open the Activity app, you should see the three concentric circles. Tap on the “Workouts” tab located at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Select the Workout You Want to Delete

The Workouts tab displays a list of all the workouts you have logged on your Apple Watch. Scroll through the list of workouts until you find the workout you want to delete, then tap on it to open it.

Step 4: Swipe Left on the Workout

Once you open the workout you want to delete, swipe left on it. This action will reveal two options: “Delete” and “Share.” Select “Delete.”

Step 5: Confirm the Deletion

After tapping on “Delete,” you’ll be asked to confirm that you want to delete the workout. Tap on “Delete Workout” to confirm.

And that’s it! The workout you selected will be permanently deleted from your Apple Watch.

Conclusion

Deleting a workout on your Apple Watch is a simple and straightforward process. Open the Activity app, select the “Workouts” tab, choose the workout you want to delete, swipe left on it, confirm the deletion, and you’re done!

It’s important to note that once you delete a workout from your Apple Watch, you won’t be able to restore it. So, be sure that you want to delete the workout before confirming the deletion.

With these simple steps, you’ll be able to delete any workout on your Apple Watch that you no longer need.
