Spread the love

WhatsApp is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. One of the best features of WhatsApp is the ability to create groups. Groups allow you to communicate with multiple people at once, making it easier to plan events, share information, and stay connected with your loved ones. If you’re new to WhatsApp, this article will give you step-by-step instructions on how to create a WhatsApp group.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp

The first thing you need to do is open WhatsApp on your phone. WhatsApp is available on both iOS and Android.

Step 2: Tap on the “Chats” Tab

Once you’re in WhatsApp, the first thing you’ll see is the “Chats” tab. Tap on it to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Tap on “New Group”

Next, you’ll need to tap on the “New Group” button. This button is located at the top of the Chats tab.

Step 4: Select Participants

After clicking “New Group”, you will be able to select who you want to add to your group. You can select participants from your contacts list. Simply tap on the names of the people you want to add.

Step 5: Choose a Group Icon and Name

Once you’ve selected your group members, you will be prompted to choose a group icon and name. You can choose a pre-loaded icon or upload your own. You will also be asked to enter a group name.

Step 6: Start Chatting

After you’ve chosen your group icon and name, you can start chatting with your group members. You can send messages, photos, videos, audio messages, and documents to your group.

Step 7: Manage Your Group

As the administrator of your WhatsApp group, you will have the ability to manage your group. You can add or remove participants, change the group icon and name, and manage the group’s settings from the group information page.

Conclusion

Creating a WhatsApp group is a simple process that can help you stay connected with your friends and family. Follow the steps listed above to create your own WhatsApp group and start chatting with your loved ones today!

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
