Reversing or mirroring text can be a useful and creative tool for various projects, such as designing logos, creating artwork, or simply adding a unique touch to your documents. Fortunately, Microsoft Word offers an easy and quick method for reversing or mirroring your text. In this article, we will guide you on how to reverse or mirror text in Microsoft Word.

Method 1: Using the WordArt feature in Microsoft Word

  1. Open Microsoft Word and click on the “Insert” tab.
  2. Select “WordArt” from the toolbar and choose a style that you prefer.
  3. Type in your desired text in the WordArt textbox.
  4. Right-click on the WordArt object and select “Format WordArt” from the drop-down menu.
  5. In the “Format WordArt” dialog box, select the “Text Effects” tab.
  6. Under the “Transform” option, choose “Reflect Horizontal” or “Reflect Vertical” to mirror the text.
  7. Click on “OK” to apply the changes.

Method 2: Using the Text Box feature in Microsoft Word

  1. Open Microsoft Word and click on the “Insert” tab.
  2. Select “Text Box” from the toolbar and choose the style that you prefer.
  3. Type in your text in the text box.
  4. Right-click on the text box and select “Format Shape” from the drop-down menu.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
