How to Connect AirPods to PS4

AirPods have become a popular choice for wireless earphones due to their small size and easy connectivity with Apple devices. However, some people may not know that they can also connect the AirPods to their gaming consoles, such as the PlayStation 4. This can improve the overall gaming experience by providing high-quality audio and eliminating the need for wires

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to connect AirPods to PS4.

Step 1: Put the AirPods in pairing mode

Start by putting your AirPods in pairing mode. To do this, press and hold the button on the back of the AirPods case until the LED light on the front of the case starts flashing white. This indicates that the AirPods are now in pairing mode and ready to connect to a new device.

Step 2: Put the PS4 in pairing mode

Next, put your PS4 in pairing mode. To do this, go to the Settings menu on your PS4, then choose Devices > Bluetooth Devices. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on, then select “Add New Device”. The PS4 will then search for nearby Bluetooth devices.

Step 3: Connect AirPods to the PS4

When the PS4 finds your AirPods, select them from the list of available devices. You may be prompted to enter a passcode, but this is not necessary for AirPods. Once connected, the LED light on the AirPods case will turn solid white, indicating that they are paired with the PS4.

Step 4: Adjust audio settings

Once the AirPods are connected to the PS4, you may need to adjust the audio settings to ensure that the sound comes through the AirPods and not the TV or other audio device. To do this, go to the Settings menu on the PS4, then choose Devices > Audio Devices. Under Output to Headphones, select “All Audio”. This ensures that all audio output is directed to the AirPods.

Step 5: Enjoy your game with high-quality audio

With your AirPods now connected to your PS4, you can enjoy your game with high-quality audio and no wires getting in the way. The AirPods have a good battery life so you can play comfortably for hours.

In conclusion, connecting AirPods to your PS4 is a simple process that can enhance your gaming experience. Follow the above-mentioned steps, and you will be ready to game with high-quality audio.
