Changing your phone number on your AT&T Go Phone is a relatively easy process. AT&T offers a variety of options that allow you to change your number for any reason, whether it be to avoid spam calls or to simply get a new number. In this article, we will discuss the steps you need to take to change your number on an AT&T Go Phone.

1. Determine if you are eligible for a new number.

Before you start the process of changing your number, you need to determine if you are eligible for a new number. Generally, you can only change your number once every 30 days. Additionally, if you change your number, you will lose any remaining balance on your account, so it’s important to use up that balance before you make any changes.

2. Log in to your account.

The next step is to log in to your account on the AT&T website. Make sure you have your account username and password handy, as you will need them to log in.

3. Navigate to the Manage My Account page.

Once you have logged in to your account, navigate to the Manage My Account page. From here, you will be able to access your account settings and make any changes you need.

4. Select the Change Phone Number option.

Once you are on the Manage My Account page, select the Change Phone Number option. This will bring up a page where you can enter your new phone number.

5. Enter your new phone number.

Enter your new phone number in the field provided. You will also need to provide a reason for the change, such as receiving too many spam calls.

6. Verify your selection.

Before confirming your selection, AT&T will verify that the new number is available and check that there are no outstanding charges on your account. Once everything is verified, AT&T will assign you a new phone number.

7. Update your contacts.

After you have successfully changed your phone number, make sure to update your contacts with your new number. You may also want to update your social media accounts, email addresses, and any other online accounts where your phone number is listed.

In conclusion, changing your number on an AT&T Go Phone is a simple process that can be completed in just a few easy steps. Remember to check that you are eligible for a new number, log in to your account, navigate to the Manage My Account page, select the Change Phone Number option, enter your new phone number, verify your selection, and update your contacts. With these steps, you’ll have a new number for your AT&T Go Phone in no time.
