Samsung Galaxy phones come with a range of features that make them popular among users. Among these features is the ability to block phone numbers that we do not want to communicate with. If you’re tired of telemarketers or someone who constantly bothers you with unwanted calls, this article will guide you on how to block numbers on Samsung Galaxy phones.

• Using the Phone App

The Phone app is where all incoming and outgoing calls are registered on Samsung Galaxy phones. To block a number using this app, follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Phone app on your Galaxy phone.

2. Find the phone number you want to block from your calls list.

3. Tap and hold the number until a menu appears.

4. Tap Add to Auto-Reject List or Block to block the number completely.

5. Confirm your action by tapping OK.

• Using Contacts

Another way to block a phone number on Samsung Galaxy phones is through Contacts. Follow these few simple steps:

1. Open the Contacts app on your phone.

2. Find the contact you want to block.

3. Tap the contact to open their details.

4. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.

5. Select Block contact.

6. Confirm your action by tapping OK.

• Using Call Settings

Call Settings is another way to block a number on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Follow these simple steps:

1. Open the Phone app on your phone.

2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.

3. Tap Settings.

4. Select Block numbers.

5. Enter the phone number you want to block or choose it from your recent calls list.

6. Confirm by tapping Block.

7. To manage blocked numbers, go back to Settings > Blocked numbers.

In conclusion, blocking a phone number on Samsung Galaxy devices has never been easier. You can do it by using the Phone app, Contacts app, or the Call Settings feature. If you want to unblock numbers in the future, visit the same location where you blocked it and tap Unblock. Keep your phone clear of unwanted calls or simply anyone who you do not want to speak with by using these easy methods.
