How to Allow Third-Party Cookies on Mac
If you’re using a recent version of Safari on your Mac, you may have noticed that third-party cookies are blocked by default. This may lead to certain websites not working properly, and if you want to enable these cookies to improve your browsing experience, it’s easy to do so. Here’s how to allow third-party cookies on your Mac:
Step 1: Open Safari.
Step 2: In the top left corner of the screen, click on “Safari” in the menu bar.
Step 3: Click on “Preferences” in the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Select the “Privacy” tab.
Step 5: Under “Cookies and website data,” make sure the option “Block all cookies” is NOT selected.
Step 6: To allow third-party cookies, select “Always allow” under the “Website tracking” section.
Step 7: Optional – If you want to allow cookies from specific websites only, you can click on “Manage Website Data” and add websites to the list.
Step 8: Close the Preferences window.
Now, when you browse the web using Safari, third-party cookies will be allowed. This should improve your experience on websites that require these cookies to function properly. It’s worth noting that allowing third-party cookies can sometimes be a privacy concern, as these cookies can be used to track your online behavior. If you’re concerned about this, you may want to consider using a cookie blocker extension or limiting the number of third-party cookies allowed.
