Whether you’re sharing your daily routine or a fun moment with friends and family, Snapchat has become a staple for capturing and sharing videos and photos. But did you know that you can also add music to your Snaps and Stories? From popular songs to your favorite tracks, adding music can take your Snapchat game to the next level.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add music to your Snapchat stories and snaps.

Step 1: Choose a Music Source

Before you get started, you need to have a music source that you want to add to your Snap. You can choose from popular music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora. You can also use your device’s music library.

Step 2: Choose Your Snap

Next, you need to choose the snap or story that you want to add music to. You can do this by tapping the camera icon on the bottom of your screen.

Step 3: Record Your Video

Once you’ve selected the snap or story, you can start recording your video by holding down the camera button. You can also add photos or videos from your device’s camera roll.

Step 4: Add Music

After recording your video, tap the Music icon located on the right side of the screen, which is shaped like a music note. This will take you to a screen with a list of different music options.

You can search for a specific song, artist, or album by using the search bar at the top of the screen. Alternatively, you can browse different music genres and playlists by scrolling down the screen.

Step 5: Select Your Song

Once you find the song you want to add to your snap, tap on the song title. This will bring up a preview of the song and give you the option to choose the section of the song that you want to include in your video.

Step 6: Edit Your Snap

After selecting your song, you can edit your snap by cutting the song to fit the length of your snap. You can also change the volume of the song so it’s louder or quieter than your video.

Step 7: Share Your Snap

Once you’re happy with your snap, you can share it with your Snapchat friends or post it to your Snapchat story. Tap on the send button to share your snap.

Adding music to your Snapchat stories and snaps is the perfect way to showcase your favorite tracks and share your mood with friends and followers. By following these simple steps, you can create engaging content that not only looks good but sounds great too.
