Outlook.com is an email service provided by Microsoft. It is a very useful tool for organizing your emails, contacts, and calendar events. One of the great features of Outlook.com is the ability to set email reminders. Email reminders are a great way to make sure that you remember important tasks or events. In this article, we will show you how to add an email reminder in Outlook.com.

Step 1: Sign in to your Outlook.com account

The first step to adding an email reminder in Outlook.com is to sign in to your account. To do this, open your web browser and go to https://www.outlook.com. Enter your email address and password and then click on the “Sign in” button.

Step 2: Open Microsoft To Do

Once you sign in to your Outlook.com account, you will see the main page of your inbox. On this page, look for the Microsoft To Do icon. This will be located on the left side of the screen. Click on it to open the Microsoft To Do task view.

Step 3: Create a new task

In the task view, click on the “Add a task” button to create a new task. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details of your task. Enter the name of the task, the due date, and any other relevant details.

Step 4: Set the reminder

To set the reminder for your task, click on the “Add reminder” button. A new window will appear where you can choose the reminder date and time. You can choose to receive the reminder at a specific time or on a specific day. You can also choose to receive the reminder every day, every weekday, or every week.

Step 5: Save the task

Once you have set the reminder, click on the “Save” button to save the task. You will see the task appear in the Microsoft To Do task list. When the reminder date and time arrive, you will receive an email reminder in your Outlook.com inbox.

Conclusion

Adding an email reminder in Outlook.com is a simple and easy process. By setting reminders for your tasks, you can ensure that you never forget an important event or task again. With the help of these easy steps, anyone can set email reminders in Outlook.com and make their life more organized and efficient.
