As an iPhone user, you may have found yourself in a situation where you need to crop a video. Maybe you want to remove unnecessary scenery or focus on a specific object or person. Whatever the reason may be, you don’t need to spend money on a fancy video editing app because you can crop videos for free on your iPhone. Here are some free ways to crop a video on iPhone.

1. Use the Photos App

The Photos app is a built-in video editing tool that you can use to crop your videos. Here’s how to do it:

1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.

2. Find the video you want to crop and tap on it.

3. Tap on the Edit button in the top-right corner.

4. You’ll now see a set of editing tools along the bottom of the screen. Tap on the Crop tool (it looks like two overlapping squares).

5. Use your finger to adjust the crop area by dragging the corners of the frame.

6. When you’re happy with the crop area, tap on Done.

7. Tap on Save Video to save the cropped video to your camera roll.

2. Use iMovie

iMovie is a free video editing app that comes pre-installed on newer iPhones (iPhone 7 or later). Here’s how to crop a video using iMovie:

1. Open the iMovie app on your iPhone.

2. Tap on the plus sign (+) to create a new project.

3. Select Movie.

4. Choose the video you want to crop from your camera roll.

5. Tap on Create Movie.

6. To crop the video, use your finger to adjust the crop area by dragging the corners of the frame.

7. When you’re happy with the crop area, tap on Done.

8. Tap on the share button (the arrow pointing up) to export the cropped video to your camera roll.

3. Use Video Crop

Video Crop is a free app available on the App Store that allows you to crop your videos. Here’s how to use it:

1. Download and install the Video Crop app from the App Store.

2. Open the app and select the video you want to crop from your camera roll.

3. Use your finger to adjust the crop area by dragging the corners of the frame.

4. When you’re happy with the crop area, tap on the Save & Share button (the arrow pointing up).

5. Choose the quality and resolution of the video and tap on Save Video.

In conclusion, cropping a video on your iPhone can be done easily with built-in tools like the Photos app or iMovie, or with a free app like Video Crop. With these free options, you can easily and quickly adjust the crop area in your videos without spending anything extra.
