Fallout Shelter Tips for Vault Dwellers

As a vault dweller in the game Fallout Shelter, you must keep your residents happy, healthy, and safe while managing resources and exploring the wasteland. Here are some tips to help you build a thriving vault:

1. Prioritize resource management: Keep an eye on your food, water, and power levels by assigning dwellers to the appropriate rooms. Focus on upgrading your resource rooms as soon as possible to maximize their output.

2. Train your dwellers: Assign them to rooms where they have the highest SPECIAL stats, and train them to increase those stats with specific training rooms. Higher SPECIAL stats make dwellers more effective in their assigned rooms.

3. Build rooms strategically: Build rooms that will benefit your dwellers the most. For example, dwellers with higher endurance should be assigned to the power room, while those with higher charisma should be assigned to the radio room.

4. Keep your dwellers happy: When your dwellers are happy, they are more productive and less likely to cause trouble. Build rooms that increase their happiness, such as the game room or lounge, and assign dwellers to jobs they enjoy.

5. Balance exploration and resource management: Sending dwellers out into the wasteland can yield valuable resources and rare items, but also uses up resources. Make sure you are balancing exploration with resource management to keep your vault thriving.

6. Plan for emergencies: Prepare for emergencies by having a first aid room, a storage room with extra resources, and backup plans for power outages or fires.

7. Breed your dwellers: Breeding your dwellers can create new residents with better SPECIAL stats. Focus on breeding the best dwellers to create a stronger and healthier population.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
