Do You Need a Senior Cell Phone Plan for Your Loved One?

If the senior in question is comfortable using a regular cell phone plan and does not need the additional features offered by a senior plan, then there may be no need to switch. However, if the senior struggles with technology or wants a simpler phone experience, then a senior cell phone plan could be a helpful option.

Here are some of the most popular cell phone plans for seniors:

1. T-Mobile Essentials Unlimited 55+: This is a postpaid plan that is perfect for those who are looking for a basic cell phone plan with unlimited talk, text, and data. It also offers the added benefit of free texting and data roaming in over 210 countries.

2. Verizon 55+ Unlimited: This plan is designed for seniors 55 and older and offers unlimited talk, text, and data, as well as access to Verizon’s 5G network. It also includes a 600GB data cap and a mobile hotspot.

3. AT&T Unlimited 55+: This plan is available to those 55 and older and provides unlimited talk, text, and data. It also includes free roaming in Canada and Mexico and 5G access.

4. Consumer Cellular: This is a prepaid plan that offers a variety of talk, text, and data packages catering to seniors. It also offers no-contract plans, making it easier for seniors to switch plans if they are not happy with the service provided.

5. Sprint Unlimited 55+: This plan is available to those 55 and older and provides unlimited talk, text, and data. It also offers free global roaming and 5G access.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
