Blenders are a fantastic addition to any kitchen, making it easy for us to whip up delicious smoothies, soups, and sauces in just minutes. However, cleaning a blender can often feel like a daunting task due to its sharp blades, hard-to-reach crevices, and cumbersome build. Fear not; we have a simple trick that will have your blender sparkling clean in no time!

The Secret: Fill, Blend, Rinse

Here is the trick to cleaning your blender quickly and easily:

1. Add Warm Water and Dish Soap

Fill your blender about halfway with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. It would be best if you ensured that the water level reaches above the blade assembly.

2. Blend

Place the lid on the blender securely and turn it on at a low speed for about 10-15 seconds. The soapy water will swish around in the blender jar, cleaning the blades as well as dislodging any leftover residues from your last blending session.

3. Rinse

After blending the soapy water, turn off the blender and unplug it. Carefully remove the jar from its base and dispose of the soapy water. Thoroughly rinse out the jar under running water to remove any leftover soap or debris.

4. Wipe Down (Optional)

For an even cleaner blender, take a sponge or dishcloth and gently wipe down the inside of the jar after rinsing it out. This step ensures that no residue remains in those pesky corners that might not have been reached during rinsing.

5. Reassemble

Once your blender jar is clean and dry, reassemble it by placing it back onto its motor base. Why Does This Trick Work?

Blending soapy water allows the soap to reach every nook and cranny of your blender effortlessly! The powerful blending action eliminates stubborn residues that can be challenging to remove otherwise. It also saves you from the potential danger of reaching into the blender to clean the sharp blades manually.

Conclusion:

Say goodbye to tedious and time-consuming blender cleaning methods! With this one easy trick, your blender will be ready for your next kitchen adventure in a snap. Fill, blend, rinse and you’re all set! Happy blending!
