Beats Studio3 Wireless review: Beats’ best headphone looks the same, performs better

Beats Studio3 Wireless is a product worthy of its own review. With a sleek design that remains faithful to the brand’s identity, this pair of headphones has managed to uphold the legacy of the Beats family, maintaining its signature design while incorporating several key upgrades.

Despite its familiar appearance, the Studio3 Wireless brings a plethora of improvements under the hood. These have resulted in better overall performance compared to its predecessors, most notably in sound quality and battery life.

One of the central elements contributing to this enhanced performance is Apple’s W1 chip, which enables seamless pairing and switching between Apple devices. It also significantly improves energy efficiency, allowing for an impressive battery life of 22 hours with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) enabled and up to an incredible 40 hours without ANC.

The inclusion of ANC itself is another game-changer for Beats Studio3 Wireless, assisting in delivering crystal-clear sound by blocking out ambient noises. With Apple’s ‘Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling’ technology at work, these headphones continuously pinpoint and block external sounds to provide an immersive listening experience.

When it comes to sound quality, Beats have always been known for their bass-heavy audio profile. With the Beats Studio3 Wireless, this DNA hasn’t changed; instead, it has been enhanced. The dynamic music range has been broadened and refined – expect a much more balanced audio experience with detailed bass response and great mid-range. Highs are also well-represented without being piercing.

Comfort remains a highlight with these headphones too. The over-ear cups are comfortable even after prolonged use due to their cushioned design while the adjustable headband ensures a personalized fit. The build quality feels robust yet lightweight – true to its premium branding.

In terms of connectivity, Beats Studio3 Wireless are easy to pair with both iOS and Android devices via Bluetooth. Also beneficial is ‘Fast Fuel’, where a quick 10-minute charge provides three hours of playtime – perfect for those rushing out the door.

In conclusion, Beats Studio3 Wireless achieves what it sets out to do – provide an enhanced audio experience without straying too far from what made this series popular initially. Although their look hasn’t changed much, it’s what’s inside that counts – optimized sound reproduction, excellent battery life with ‘Fast Fuel’, useful adaptive noise cancellation, comfort fit, and swift connectivity make them a solid choice for any avid music lover or professional looking for reliable wireless headphones.
