Monster cookies are a delectable treat that combines all of your favorite cookie ingredients into one monster-sized cookie. This recipe will show you how to make the best monster cookies, guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 cup packed brown sugar

– 3 large eggs

– 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

– 1 and 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter

– 2 teaspoons baking soda

– 4 and 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

– 1 cup M&M candies

– 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer on medium speed. This will take about two to three minutes.

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Next, add the peanut butter to the mixture, followed by the baking soda. Mix on low speed until fully incorporated.

5. Gradually add the old-fashioned oats to the mixture and continue to mix on low speed until well combined.

6. Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M candies, and chopped walnuts (if using) with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon.

7. Using an ice cream scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared cookie sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center. Be careful not to overbake, as they will continue to firm up as they cool.

9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the cookie sheets for about five minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

These monster cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. They also freeze well, so feel free to make a big batch and store them for later!

Keep this recipe handy for your next cookie craving, as these monster cookies are sure to be a hit with family and friends alike. Enjoy your soft, chewy, and scrumptious cookies!
