Introduction

Crispy pork stir fry is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that will delight your taste buds. The combination of tender, juicy pork with crunchy vegetables all coated in a savory sauce makes for a meal that is full of flavor and texture. In this article, we’ll share with you the best crispy pork stir fry recipe, along with some tips and tricks to ensure your dish turns out perfectly every time.

Ingredients

– 1 lb (450 g) pork tenderloin, thinly sliced

– 3 tbsp cornstarch

– 2 tbsp vegetable oil

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 small onion, thinly sliced

– 1 bell pepper (any color), thinly sliced

– 1 small carrot, julienned

– 3 green onions, chopped into 1-inch pieces

– 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce

– 2 tbsp oyster sauce

– 1 tbsp hoisin sauce

– 1/4 cup (60 ml) water or chicken broth

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Start by preparing your pork. Trim off any excess fat and slice it into thin strips. Place the sliced pork in a large bowl, then add the cornstarch and mix until all the pieces are coated evenly. Set aside.

2. Heat a large wok or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan.

3. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds to release its aroma. Then add the onion, bell pepper, and carrot to the pan. Stir fry for around 3 minutes until they start to soften but still have some crunch.

4. Remove the vegetables from the pan, place them on a plate and set aside.

5. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan and heat it up. Once hot, add the cornstarch-coated pork to the pan, making sure not to crowd the pieces. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side until crispy and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook the pork, as it can become tough.

6. While the pork is cooking, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and water or chicken broth in a small bowl.

7. Once the pork is cooked, add the sautéed vegetables back into the pan along with the green onions and prepared sauce mixture. Stir everything together for another 2-3 minutes until heated through and evenly coated in sauce.

8. Taste the dish and adjust seasonings by adding salt and pepper if needed.

9. Serve your crispy pork stir fry over steamed rice or noodles for a quick and satisfying meal that’s perfect for lunch or dinner.

Conclusion

This best crispy pork stir fry recipe is simple to make and full of amazing flavors that will quickly become a favorite in your household. By following these steps and using quality ingredients, you can enjoy a restaurant-quality dish in the comfort of your own home. Happy cooking!
