Introduction:

Buffalo chicken tenders are a delicious and popular appetizer or meal that combines the fantastic taste of crispy, juicy chicken with the spicy flavors of buffalo sauce. This recipe is perfect for gatherings, game nights, or even just a fun family dinner. With minimal ingredients and simple steps to follow, you can prepare these mouth-watering buffalo chicken tenders in no time.

Ingredients:

– 1 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breast or tenders

– 1 cup flour

– 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Panko)

– 2 large eggs

– 2 cups of buffalo wing sauce

– ½ tablespoon garlic powder

– ½ tablespoon onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Cooking spray or vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the chicken: If you’re using whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut them into long strips (around 1-inch wide) for tenders. Make sure all your chicken pieces are approximately the same size so they cook evenly.

2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs with a splash of water. Finally, in a third shallow dish, spread out the breadcrumbs.

3. Set up your dredging station: First dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture and coat it well. Then dip it into the egg wash, making sure it’s fully covered but allowing any excess egg to drip off. Finally, coat the tender in breadcrumbs evenly.

4. For air frying: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and place the breaded tenders in a single layer within the air fryer basket. Lightly coat them with cooking spray to help achieve a crispy texture. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through. You may need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.

For pan frying: Pour about ½-inch of vegetable oil into a large skillet or frying pan and heat over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add breaded tenders in a single layer, cooking them for about 5 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.

5. In a large bowl, toss the cooked chicken tenders with buffalo wing sauce until they’re evenly coated.

6. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces like blue cheese or ranch dressing, along with some celery sticks or carrot sticks.

Enjoy your delicious and flavorful buffalo chicken tenders!

In conclusion:

This best Buffalo Chicken Tender recipe is a guaranteed crowd pleaser that brings together satisfyingly crispy chicken with zesty buffalo sauce. Prepare it for your next gathering or simply as an indulgent meal for yourself and enjoy the taste of these appetizing, spicy chicken tenders!
