As technology advances, it has become easier for individuals with visual impairments to access written materials. Bionic reading tools provide a range of features that can help you read faster and with greater comprehension. Here are some of the best bionic reading tools available on the market today.

  1. OrCam MyEye 2

The OrCam MyEye 2 is a portable device that can be clipped onto your glasses. It scans text and reads it out loud to you using a built-in speaker or connected earpiece. It can also recognize faces, products, and barcodes and provide Audio descriptions. The MyEye 2 can also help you identify color of clothes, detect money, and recognize people around you.

  1. KNFB Reader

The KNFB Reader app is available for iOS and Android devices and uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to read printed text out loud. ZoomText also includes a speech feature, which can read text out loud as you read along.
