In today’s digital age, the demand for online gaming is skyrocketing. There are a plethora of gaming platforms and websites available to cater to gamers’ needs. Given the abundance of choices, it’s easy to get lost in the vastness of the internet. Here are some of the best apps and websites that you can use to download your favourite games.

Google Play Store: One of the most popular sources for downloading mobile games is the Google Play Store. It is available on all Android devices and offers a wide range of games across different genres. With a simple interface, you can easily search for games, download them, and start playing within a few minutes.

Apple App Store: Much like the Google Play Store, Apple’s app store is a hub of games and gaming applications. It is available on all iOS devices and, much like the Google Play Store, offers a variety of games that cater to different ages and interests.

Steam: The go-to platform for PC gaming, Steam, offers thousands of games that can be downloaded and played on your computer. With a huge selection of games, Steam is the perfect platform for gamers who love games that require more processing power.

GOG: Good Old Games, or GOG, is another platform for PC gaming. The platform offers gamers a collection of classic games, including older games that are no longer available for sale or in stores. It is a great place to visit if you are a retro gaming enthusiast.

Epic Games Store: Developed by Epic Games, the Epic Games Store is a relatively new platform for PC gaming. The platform offers a selection of games that are exclusive to it, including Fortnite. It also offers a free game every week, making it an affordable option for gamers on a budget.

Humble Bundle: Humble Bundle is a platform that offers gamers access to a variety of Indie games as well as occasional big-budget games. The platform is unique because users can purchase games individually or opt for monthly subscriptions and receive a curated package of games every month.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
