As technology has advanced, shooting videos on an iPhone has become a commonplace. But sometimes, you might find that your video is too slow or needs to be sped up. If you are wondering how to speed up a video on an iPhone, don’t worry – it’s an easy process that requires just a few simple steps.

Here’s a quick guide to help you speed up a video on your iPhone:

  1. Open the video editing tool

Firstly, open the camera app on your iPhone and go to the ‘Photos’ section to select the video that you want to speed up. Once you have selected a video, tap on the ‘Edit’ button located on the top right corner of the screen.

  1. Trim the video

Next, you need to trim the video to the sections that you want to speed up. To do so, drag the yellow sliders present at the bottom left or right corners of the frame to cut out the unwanted sections. Then, tap on the ‘Done’ button located on the bottom right corner of the screen.

  1. Adjust the video speed

Once you have trimmed the video, tap on the ‘Speedometer’ icon located at the bottom of the screen to adjust the video speed. In the ‘Speed’ section, you will have the option to increase or decrease the speed of the video. You can play the video back to see the changes and adjust the speed accordingly. You can increase the speed from normal (1x) up to 2x or even 3x.

  1. Save the video

Once you are satisfied with the changes, tap on the ‘Done’ button located on the bottom right corner of the screen to save the edited video. You can either save the video as a new clip or overwrite the original video.

That’s it! You have successfully sped up your video on an iPhone.

In conclusion, speeding up videos on an iPhone is a straightforward process that can add a fun and creative twist to your videos. With these easy steps, you can conveniently adjust the speed of your video to match your preferences. So, go ahead and give it a try next time you shoot a video and see the difference it makes.
