While other apps I tried had their merits — interesting methodologies or sleek interfaces — these two offered consistent daily practice and robust learning strategies without costing a dime.

Committing to continue using Duolingo and Memrise feels like promising myself I’ll engage with Spanish in delightful and meaningful ways every day.
