DIY cleaning slime or putty isn’t just a fun way to keep your hands busy – it can also be an incredibly useful tool for cleaning around the house. It’s easy to make, made from non-toxic ingredients, and can be reused time and time again. Here are some clever ways to use DIY cleaning slime or putty to keep your home sparkling clean.

1. Dusting Small Spaces:

DIY cleaning slime or putty is perfect for those small, hard-to-reach spaces in your home. Press the putty into crevices on your keyboard, remotes, and other electronics or molding and baseboards. Its tackiness can pick up dust, dirt, and debris, leaving your surfaces clean and polished.

2. Removing Pet Hair:

Pets can leave hair just about anywhere, and it can be tough to get it all off. Use DIY cleaning slime or putty to lift pet hair from your car seats, rugs, and even furniture. Simply roll the putty over the surface of the hair or fibers, and watch as it lifts off all the hair.

3. Cleaning Car Interiors:

Cleaning your car’s interior can be a chore, but DIY cleaning slime or putty makes it quick and easy. Use the putty to clean your air vents, dashboard, and cup holders. The putty can also remove those hard-to-reach crumbs – just roll it over your car seats or floor mats to pick them up.

4. Picking Up Broken Glass:

If you’ve ever broken a glass or plate, you know how difficult it can be to pick up all the broken pieces. Use DIY cleaning slime or putty to scoop up the small pieces of glass you might miss with a broom. Its malleable texture can easily reach into cracks and crevices to leave your floors clean and safe.

5. Dusting Lampshades and Curtains:

Dusting lampshades and curtains can be a challenge, especially when trying to avoid mess. DIY cleaning slime or putty is a perfect tool to lightly pick up dirt from those hard-to-reach surfaces without making a mess. Just press the putty into the fabric or surface and watch as the dirt sticks to the putty.

In conclusion, making a jar of DIY cleaning slime or putty is an easy way to keep your home clean and tidy. Its versatility and flexibility make it a perfect solution for many cleaning problems around the house. Give these clever ways a try and see how this simple compound can change the way you clean!
