How to Find the Best Hotels for Microstays

Microstays are becoming increasingly popular in recent years. A microstay is a short-term stay at a hotel for a few hours or less. This can be ideal for people who want to rest and freshen up during a long layover or for those who need to catch up on some work before heading home. However, finding the right hotel for a microstay can be a challenging task. In this article, we’ll provide you with some tips and tricks to help you find the best hotels for microstays.

1. Start with a search engine.

The easiest way to begin your search for the best hotels for microstays is by using a search engine. Simply type in “hotels for microstays” or “short-stay hotels” and see what comes up. This will give you a broad idea of what’s available in your area. However, don’t let the search engine do all the work. Sometimes, the most popular results on the first page may not be the best fit for your needs. So, be sure to also look at the smaller, lesser-known hotels to find the right fit.

2. Check the hotel’s amenities.

When you’re looking for a hotel for a microstay, the most important thing to consider is the amenities. Ideally, you want a hotel that can meet all of your needs in a short amount of time. Things like a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and free Wi-Fi are essential. Look for hotels that offer these amenities and more. For example, some hotels may offer a library or a gym, which can make your stay more enjoyable.

3. Check the location.

The location of the hotel is also an important consideration. You want to make sure that the hotel is close to where you need to be, whether that’s an airport or a business conference. Also, make sure that the area is safe and easy to navigate. Check if there are any attractions nearby, such as restaurants or shops, that can help you to kill time between flights.

4. Read reviews.

Before you book a hotel for a microstay, be sure to read some reviews. Reading reviews from other travelers can give you insight into the hotel’s service and amenities. Check sites like TripAdvisor and Google Reviews to see what previous guests have to say. If you notice a trend of complaints, consider looking for another hotel.

5. Make sure the price is right.

Finally, the price is always a consideration. For a microstay, you want to find a hotel that offers the best value for your money. Look for hotels that offer discounts for short stays or that have inexpensive rates to begin with. However, don’t be too frugal – sometimes, paying a little bit more can lead to a significantly better experience.
